microcurrent_smFrequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) produces different frequencies of electrical current to induce focused and precise effects on the body’s cells. It is useful in the treatment of acute injuries, chronic pain, organ dysfunction, inflammation and multiple other conditions.  FSM has individual frequencies for nerves, muscle, tendons and all other tissue groups, organs and body parts.  In addition to each tissue having its own unique frequency, there is a specific frequency for each condition. Thus, there is a frequency for inflammation, a different frequency for scars, another to promote secretions.  Because of these individualized options, we are able to cater each treatment specifically to the needs of the patient.

How do the frequencies work?

FSM is believed to work on the principle of biologic resonance, meaning a specific frequency can resonate with the structure of an object or tissue.  To better illustrate this mechanism, consider the following: a singer can shatter a glass when they attain a note that resonates with the crystal structure of the glass. Microcurrent frequencies work in a similar way; they are able to resonate with biologic tissue to gently alter function and structure.  Once the tissue is changed and stable, it can maintain this new configuration with proper nutritional support.  Animal research confirms that the frequency to treat inflammation reduces it by 62% in a mouse model.  Prescription drugs reduce inflammation by 45% in the same study.  The FSM has been shown to quickly and effectively reduce inflammation in other studies as well.
