Bacteria, Pathogens, Parasites, & Tick-Borne Illness Testing

Considered by most Lyme Literate doctors to be the best test available for Lyme. Igenex tests for antibodies that your body makes against tick-borne infections.
- DNA Connections – Tick-borne illness testing
A newer test for tick-borne illnesses, the DNA Connections urinary test actually looks for matching DNA to these organisms, rather than antibodies like traditional Lyme tests.
- Galaxy diagnostics – Bartonella
This DNA PCR test is considered the best testing available for Bartonella.
- Clongen – Mycoplasma species
Mycoplasma flies under the radar in many cases but can cause serious health conditions. Clongen labs can get down to the details of the infection allowing specific treatments.
Gastrointestinal (GI) & Food Sensitivity Testing
- BodyBio – Fatty Acid Profile
In order to create energy for the body, we have to look down to the level of the cell. Understanding the composition of your cellular membranes you can start the process of repair by restoring membrane functionality and with it mitochondrial energy production.
- Alletess – Food sensitivities
Digestive health is at the center of most conditions. IgG food sensitivity testing allowing a patient to have a detailed road map as to what they should eat for a certain time period. This decreases systemic inflammation and fortifies the gut wall.
- Diagnosis – Techs – Hormones
Understanding hormones can be a struggle. Often lab tests only give you a snapshot of your levels which can leave you with many questions. This test measures your hormones through saliva sampling over the course of an entire month for a much more accurate representation of your cycle.
- Diagnostic solutions – GI map
Previously pathogen and parasite testing were limited to what you saw under a microscope. The new GI map test looks for specific DNA matches and is much more accurate in diagnosing GI concerns.
- Genova – Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), GI effects
With excellent insurance coverage, the GI effects test starts the process of healing at its core. Your Gut. This test helps us understand the possible invaders as well as beneficial bacteria in your GI.
Toxicity & Heavy Metal Testing
- Doctors Data – Heavy Metal
This urinary test is performed twice. The second is after a provocative medicine, allowing a comparison with acute and chronic exposure to toxic heavy metals in the body.
- Great Plains – GPL tox test, OAT test
Great testing for mycotoxins and other environmental toxins. Further testing for hormones and neurotransmitters which can be very helpful with depression, anxiety, and other disorders.
- IGL – Cellular toxicity
On the cutting edge of medical research, this new German test shows what toxins are bound to your cellular DNA. It is incredibly helpful in understanding why the cells may not be functioning normally and then being able to restore that function with specific interventions.
