ThyroCare is recommended in place of Thyroid Px for people who are sensitive to high levels of iodine, or cannot tolerate additional zinc.

Cautions: Be sure to monitor patients for iodine sensitivity. ThyroCare is contraindicated in “hot” thyroid nodules and tachycardia. The formula may potentiate thyroid hormone therapy, especially after 1-3 months. Therefore, some hypothyroid patients may need to lower their dose of the hormone after 1-3 months on ThyroCare.
